Using Personas Effectively
This two-day course is aimed at designers who want to get the most benefit from Personas. The course will answer questions such as “Why are Personas best derived from User Research?”, and “How do Personas work?”. Whether you’ve started using Personas already or not this course will make sure you’re using them to the full, but if you have started, you’re encouraged to bring a Persona along!

Software Systems Architecture for Designers
This course is aimed at designers who have come from a non-technical background. The course presents a rapid summary of software architecture, from desktop systems to the web and other distributed systems.
The course covers the following topics…
- Graphical User Interface Architecture
- Web Architecture (including AJAX, Databases)
- System Security
- System Performance
- The Limits of the “State of the Art”
